We look forward to you becoming part of our faith and learning community.

To enrol your child at St Patrick's School:
Enrolments are accepted from Year 1 to Year 8 (5 - 12 years of age). Enrolment packs are available from the School Office.

Enrolments are based on preference or non-preference and there are only ever 6 non-preference placements at St Patrick's School. The Principal deals with enrolments at St Patrick's School. If you are seeking enrolment for your child as a preference student, you will need to get a preference form signed by a member of the Preference Committee.

To be considered for preference, a child's family would have to meet at least one of the preference criteria:

1. The child has been baptised or is being prepared for baptism in the Catholic Church.

2. The child's parents/guardians have already allowed one or more of its siblings to be baptised in the Catholic faith.

3. At least one parent/guardian is a Catholic, and although their child has not yet been baptised, the child's participation in the life of the school could lead to the parents having the child baptised.

4. With the agreement of the child's parent/guardian, a grandparent or other significant adult in the child's life, such as an aunt, uncle or godparent, undertakes to support the child's formation in the faith and practices of the Catholic Church.

5. One or both of a child's non-Catholic parents/guardians is preparing to become a Catholic.

Enrolment Procedures
Phone the School and ask to speak to our Office Staff, who will help you commence enrolment procedures.

You and your child will need to have a meeting with the Principal. If you are enrolling a non-preference child, the Principal can complete the enrolment process then, providing that there are spaces available. (Non-preference enrolments are granted at the discretion of the Principal)

If you are likely to be considered for a preference enrolment, Office Staff will organise a time for you to meet with someone from the Preference Committee.

To expedite this process: If you are a Catholic, please bring a copy of your own or your child's Baptism Certificate to this meeting.

Preference certificates are only issued to students who meet the preference criteria.

Please bring the completed (signed) Preference Certificate and completed enrolment forms to the School Office where enrolment procedures can then be completed.

Once your child's enrolment has been confirmed, they may begin attending the school.

We look forward to you becoming part of our faith and learning community.
